main sections. A password
protected website for
Forgefix Ltd. customers
and a bridge solution
which was responsible
for the transfer of information
from and to their internal
accounts and inventory
management system.
Forgefix Ltd. can now setup customer accounts on the website from their internal system. This information is then transferred and updated to the website by the bridge software at regular intervals. Customers can then login to the website using their login names and passwords and see…
- Product information as well as technical specification on products.
- Customer specific prices ie. Category based discounts and special nett prices
- A history of orders placed. They can also reorder from their order history thus saving time on re-orders
- Stock information on orders prior to placing an order

- Reducing data related errors. Now orders from the website are directly transferred into the internal system via the bridge module. Invoices and despatch notes are raised against these orders. Due to the reduction in data entry, there has been a resultant reduction in related errors.

- Reduce Time To Market on new products. iCube Solutions Ltd. offers a mailshot service as part of this solution. Customers are sent mailshots with information about new products added to the Forgefix Catalogue. This is a relatively low cost and high speed way to getting new products to market.
